They’re quick, rough drafts meant to grasp basic shapes and let the magic unfold in the final work. Still, comparing the sketches to the finished piece can be fascinating—a necessary dialogue emerges between their raw, intuitive beginnings and the polished final form. Plus, there are quite a few sketched objects that didn’t make it into the final composition.
